Situated only one and half hours from Christchurch, the Garden City and International Airport, eight minutes from Hanmer Springs Village and thermal resort, one and a half hours from Kaikoura and the Whale watch activities on the Alpine Pacific Triangle and forty minutes from the Waipara Wine growing district, ours is the perfect place to base yourselves for your visit to the South Island be it holiday or honeymoon.

The views from your ensuite room are awesome, warm evenings you may sit on your private patio and soak in the scenery. In winter months you can make yourselves warm and at home in front of our large open log fire and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine before sampling an evening meal at one of the many excellent restaurants in Hanmer Springs.

For the energetic you may like to take a private walk to the top of the “Peak” our own challenge on a track through our commercial forest where you may see our sheep and resident goat Charlotte!

Amuri consists of a 9 hole course with 18 different teeing grounds, is is situated on undulating terrain, with holes that offer a challenge to all who play the course, with greens above the level of the fairways, and downhill Par 3's.
